Rubber Industries Investment and Development Company, with the aim of utilizing its extra capacities and capabilities in the field of machinery, with its specialized and experienced personnel and reputation in the tire industry, has decided to expand its business to non-tire industries.

The existence of the only polymerization and spinning line of nylon in the country and the high capacity of twisting and weaving and dipping allowed the SABA tire cord to quickly enter this field and deliver its products to customers.

At the beginning of this activity, the goal was to meet the company’s internal needs, which was achieved by the end of 2018, to produce first liner in SABA and so with negotiations to meet the needs of tire plants.

The exciting production of canvas for conveyor belts, brake booster diaphragms and windshields has opened the way to a new market leading to more investment to increase these products in the company’s future plans.

The equipment available in spinning and weaving is also capable of weaving the fabric of the Air Bag, which will also be part of the company’s future development plans.
